Top 4 Normann Copenhagen Chairs

Normann Copenhagen have a plethora of chairs that allow you to sit comfortably for hours on end. We picked our top four – let us know what your favorite chair is!

1. Form

Form is a timeless chair that is functional enough to fit any space while featuring a classic design to fit virtually any aesthetic. This is why it’s number one on our list.

The Form Chairs are crafted combining a wood or steel frame with a molded plastic seat, while the table has oak legs and a linoleum covered table top. The different materials meet in an elegant way and help to accentuate the high quality craftsmanship, leaving the furniture with a clean and simple expression.

2. Herit

Herit pulls as much from the past as it does from the future. This small but mighty chair is made from solid wood and comes in three different wood options.

Herit reflects Simon Legald’s love of classic Danish furniture craftsmanship but rose from a desire to design a versatile and strong chair that unites the different eras of Danish design. A chair in which oak and plastic merge in tactful synergy, to create a hard-wearing, maintenance-friendly and accessible design, made for modern life. The path of the curves is by no means random; it is precisely designed to follow the shape of the body and create the correct support in the seated position. Herit is a chair that truly unfolds its beauty as you move around it and observe the transitions of shapes. 3. Knot

Created by Japanese designer Tatsuo Kuroda, Knot combines simple colors with real materials for a comfortable sitting experience.

Tatsuo Kuroda explains: “My thoughts behind Knot was to create a chair which is a reinterpretation of itself – a chair that is both classic and modern at the same time. I am inspired by Danish design classics in which function and aesthetics come together.”

4. My Chair

Perfectly balanced, as all things should be – My Chair strives to be the perfect chair.

My Chair is the result of designer Nicholai Wiig Hansen’s vision of the perfectly balanced chair: ”My aim was to design a chair with unequaled harmony and to try and come close to the indefinable quality that, in my opinion, lifts a design to another level. My Chair is a mixture of something familiar and something new, something neutral yet characterful, something present but not dominating, something simple as well as complex and something rigorous as well as curved. In other words, My Chair is a shell chair the way I think it should be.”
